Dr. Janelle Tertullien-McDonald, OD is a board- licensed optometrist who graduated summa cum laude with a BSc degree in Biology from CUNY City College of New York and earned a Doctorate of Optometry degree from SUNY College of Optometry in New York. Dr. McDonald completed internships at East New York Diagnostic and Treatment Center in Brooklyn , NY and the Family Vision Care Associates and Bernstein Center for visual Performance where she gained valuable skills and experience in the management of eye diseases including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.
Prior to joining Invision, Dr McDonald has practiced full scope optometry for 10+ years in private practices in Newark and Passaic NJ. She provided a range of services including comprehensive eye exams for children and adults, Contact lens fittings, ocular emergencies, treatment of ocular conditions such as diabetic eye disease, glaucoma , dry eye syndrome, as well as pre and post op management of cataracts and LASIK.
In her free time Dr McDonald enjoys home renovations with her husband, crafting , traveling and spending quality time with family.
